Key moments along the way:

1. Your application

  • Once you’ve found your desired role, hit apply and upload your cover letter and resume. It’s okay if you don’t meet all the criteria and use this opportunity to tell us about yourself.
  • You’ll receive a confirmation email after successful submission.
  • Let us know if you have any special requirements so our team can get in touch and discuss any arrangements with you.
  • As our Talent team begins reviewing applications, you’ll receive a phone call or email regarding the status of your application. At this stage, our Talent team may also engage with you to better understand your interest in NGM Group and suitability for the role.

2. Your interview

  • If your application progresses, you’ll move on to the interview stage. This is your time to shine and a chance for us to get to know each other.
  • Interviews can be held via phone, Microsoft Teams, or in person
  • You’ll be sent all the necessary details and tips so you can prepare ahead of time
  • We’ll ask behavioural-based questions and depending on the role, interviews may include virtual assessments, psychometric testing, technical testing and role plays.
  • Take the time to familiarise yourself with the position description and jot down any questions you have for us.

3. Your pre-employment checks

  • If identified as the preferred candidate following interview, we’ll contact you with a proposed offer and you’ll be asked to complete pre-employment checks, including:
    • Two reference checks (ideally completed with your most recent two leaders/managers).
    • National Police Check and Bankruptcy Check.
    • Proof of ID / Working Rights.
    • Health Questionnaire.
  • Other background checks may be required for certain roles.

4. Your offer

  • This is the best bit. After successful checks, we’ll give you a call to formally offer you the job and will agree on a suitable start date We encourage you to consider taking some off before commencing your new role, if doable.
  • Your employment agreement will be sent electronically via DocuSign to e-sign, and will outline the details previously discussed and negotiated.

5. Pre-boarding

  • As your start date approaches, you’ll receive a call from your new leader to discuss the details of your first day and to answer any questions. You’ll also receive a few emails, including important information and resources, as well as brief learning modules.
  • You’ll be asked to provide your tax, banking, and super on your first day, so please have those details handy!
